NW Meet 27th April

Looks like this could be an interesting event to watch from along the route. What say thou?

The Lancashire Automobile Club is pleased to announce this year’s St Georges Day Run which is part of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs annual event.

The intention nationally is to get as many ‘classics’ out on the road as possible to demonstrate the popularity, and importance, of our passion.

This year we have returned to Mitton Hall for our start and are taking in some great roads through Lancashire to Caton. There is a optional rest halt in Caton before the route returns to Mitton Hall via the scenic Trough of Bowland some 75 miles in total.

Entrants will receive a detailed Route Book and ‘Rally Plate’ and the event is timed to allow lunch to be ordered at Mitton Hall before departure if you wish to dine in these fantastic surroundings.

Good idea, Mr P. Will consult the diary.

Ooo I’m free! as they say:-)

Gav

Guess this meet never happened, great pity as I came across the run by accident whilst on the bike yesterday, some cracking machinery and perfect weather for them.

I completely forgot, but earned some brownie points by cutting the grass :lolno:

Like Bacon’s mate

Entertaining guests from Thailand. However, we did have a day in the Lakes & came acroos a load of 50s, 60s & 70s classic cars (eg Jags/MGs/Morgans/Singers/Reliants) parked up at Lakeland Motor Museum.

I forgot, too. No surprise, there, though!

I remembered but ended up at a christening with the wee man! Oh they joys!

Dont forget Mitton Hall this sunday though!

Yours or Owen’s Gav?

Ha ha, he’s had his but I’ve not! No it wasn’t mine before you ask.
