Guys,I can’t believe nobody has responded to this post! It’s going to be 2 full days of unlimited tracktime, mostly Lotii and fairly cheap.Mark (one of the organizers posted the following on the SE BB):"For anyone who has emailed me, thanks for saying you want to come along. As I am sure you are aware we got easily enough cars in one night. Looks like there are going to be a large number of Elises there, going to be great fun. Those of you who have joined SELOC will have seen the various posts on there and know the current situation. If you want to go and haven’t joined SELOC then can I ask you to do so as this is where the main organising will take place. Just join the group at http://www.seloc.org and post in the largest thread on the seloc BBS (you cant miss it [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/wink.gif[/image] ).If everything turns out okay this has the possibility of being THE Lotus event of the year. For those who have asked, the price will be approx 200 per car for 1 occupant (an additional 50 may be required for a passenger for accomodation TBC).Mark"Come on all you traveling, adventure-seeking guys, we should have more that one Exige there, don’t you think? I may well be able to go, but am trying to secure a job first, thus haven’t replied to the first mail! Should know this week hopefully.I have a bet on with a friend who just took delivery of a 360 on who would be quickest around the ring, thus he would also be interested in a space. Other friends also taking bets on who will stuff car first. [This message has been edited by ADL (edited 20 January 2003).]
Uldis,Went to Nurburgring last year with 3 Exiges and a sport 160 (well actualy 4 Exiges and the 160 but one Ex. missed the boat and had to catch the next one!!!)What a track!! It’s awsome!!! 21kms of shear speed, until you’ve been down that hill at 125ish and get to the bottom where it starts going back uphill, the smell of burning rubber as the car squats down and the wheels touch the arch liners. Drop down into the carousel and hold on tight, it does it’s best to chuck you out before the end!! it’s gotta be just the best track ever and I was just a passenger!!!I was so impressed I went out and bought the car!!!Come on guys this is an all time must do track, you’ll never forget it [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]Gutted that I’m working that weekend, but if I can’t get the time off, I’ll certainly be going later in the year.“I’ll be back!!!”[This message has been edited by Dave Kelly (edited 21 January 2003).]
