Right am after a reduced size plate to go on my exige s but i dont know if 12 x 3 is too small…
any ideas?
Legally yes, aesthetically no!

Without wanting to suggest to you to break the law (officer) you could always fit a smaller plate than legally required and if you had the misfortune to be stopped by Her Majesty’s Constabulary just offer to fit the correct sized plates.
I got my 3/4 size plate from Craftyplates.com. It looks much better than Std size, in a year I have never been pulled for it.
I had a custom plate made up that is just the right width to cover the plinth, 470mmx96mm with standard font. 3/4 size is slightly too small, and as said above illegal.
www.gtgrafix.com did mine, but I gave them a call to confirm the custom size.

I’ve used http://www.fancyplates.com/ in the past, they will make them any size you want and you can also add Lotus logo’s etc if you want.
