If anyone has suffered or is suffering from the recent mcafee screwup leaving your pc dead in the water, if you can drop me a pm i’ll send you the removal instructions, saves costly IT call outs.
I hate McAfee and Norton, they are both crap in my opinon. Im not a Micrsoft die hard, bu T have been using there “Windows Live One Car” virus package and i have never had any teouble with my PC at all.

I hate norton, mcafee isnt much better, my phone hasnt stopped recently with people’s machines being screwed, fix is easy so i thought if anyone was having problems i’d give them the fixes. I’d rather use linux but thats a seperate issue all together

What’s the issue?
McAfee sent down a .dat update, which results in your os restarting constantly or completely locking you out. It was more sucessful than most viruses
AVG is , and always has been Ace … And free!!!
Yep, AVG freebie done me good for a number of years. Before that I used the paid version on several F500 without issue.
Another thumbs up for AVG. Have recommended it to several people and never heard of any issues.
