Found the pic while rifling through boxes of old photos.Graham Hill finished third in this F2 Lotus, beaten only by Jack Brabham and Jackie Stewart in full F1 machinery.
Car behind is Jackie Oliver’s 41B F2 car entered by Lotus Components, hence the different colour bodywork
Ace pic, just difficult to imagine machinery like that stuffed on a patch of grass in bits for all to walk round. Fantastic. You want to get those all scanned in proper for safekeeping, I keep meaning to go digging in the loft as I’m sure I kept a ton of Donington photos from the late 80s early 90s but can’t find the blummin’ things.
Thanks, Paul. I found lots of poor quality (even worse than this) pics from a variety of events, mostly Oulton Park. Interesting, looking at them it’s not so much the cars but how much Oulton has changed. There seemed to be no barrier whatsoever on the outside of Old Hall Corner for eg.
Just great to see times gone by - and from a personal perspective even moreso.
