Thanks Tim

6 cars so far

If weather says nice Shrek might be making an appearance.

What about any of you north east guys?

If I can get the car ready I might have a venture across

Yep maybe have to see if working first though. Few rush jobs in at work this week

Only back in UK on Saturday after 1 week in Netherlands, so will have to give this meeting a miss.

Have a good chin wag, & fingers crossed the weather is okey dokey too

We are meeting at Corby Hill BP garage at 9.30 then others at Rheged at 10am if you can make it Adrian & Phil.

Tim - hope your alchometer is now required for this one!

Nah, all good here

Good to hear that Tim - I may be able to get to Whinlatter after all…

 Great news,Mr P . We need a catch-up

Good meet at Whinlatter. Magnificent bacon and Cumberland sausage baguette, and with Tim’s best friend Sherman distracted by a few of the ladies I was able to eat it undisturbed thank goodness.
After lots of chat and light-hearted banter about my Euro trip, I set off for home , planning to go south through the Lakes via Buttermere and Newlands Valley but went west instead past Loweswater and out to Egremont, joining A595 to Barrow and south. Long time since I’d been on that road and it’s well worth a drive. Not much traffic considering it was a end of summer Sunday.

Nice one Steve, were to tempted over Corney Fell too?

Rob - did the sherberts catch up with you in the end :stuck_out_tongue:

Afraid so, Tim. At my age I should have learnt by now. Usually I don’t over indulge, but last night after getting back from a week in the Netherlands, my guard slipped & I felt dog rough this morning (apologies to Sherman).

Any pics?

In view of your hangover, Mr P I perhaps should not mention this but . . .
Thommo’s Top Tip: buy nice bottle of red on way home. Park car in garage. Put bottle of red in engine compartment.
Take out an hour later, warmed through nicely and ready to drink with your roast

Really enjoyed today and a good variety of vehicles. Sorry but too busy chatting so I only took two pictures and they were of Sherman and Shermanette his new friend for the day.
Thanks for organising Tim and Steve

I couldn’t take any pics as iPhone is bunged up with snaps, so picture the scene: 2 Elise S2s, 1 S1 Exige, 2S2 Exiges, 1VX220, 1 Evora S

You missed a good trip Rob, apart from me suffering a broken Evora S :frowning:

And Shrek throwing a strop and refusing to start so the Elise got a blast instead.

Looks like is immobiliser issue :frowning:
