Beer is top notch, Dogth Vader on a cold crisp Lakeland night (ie most nights) highly recomended
Would suggest parking on the traffic free lane facing the pub if you want to keep together (if I’m up this weekend will take a photo and post)
For anyone without SatNav the Watermill as directly behind the BP garage at Ings (turnings off A591 either side of garage)
Lastly for anyone intending making a dramatic arrival the only fixed Scamera in the area is in the 40 mph restriction heading past the BP station from the M6 direction (cameras both sides of road)
You’ll note from the time of my post, I’d had a few and was keen to continue. Sobriety reigns this morning.

I’m staying in Ambleside on the 28th/29th/30th but gutted that I will have three in my car,so no chance of bringing the Lotus.

Just a quick update on the Watermill, wandered across on Saturday and small point but realised both turnings off the A591 are actually imediatley after the BP garage when heading West (Windermere) direction.
Still slightly concerned that the parking isn’t perfect, between the couple of small car parks, the road outside and the quiet lane opposite there is plenty but all a bit spread around. So decided to have a word with the Manager of the diner (next to the BP station) which has the perfect car park, anyway my silver tongued charm clearly was non existent, receiving the retort “no problem for �5 each unless you eat here” So failed miserably - sorry
