My steering wheel vibrates under breaking in my other car. There is a slight imprint of the pad on the disk from an emergency stop I had to do after about 1 day of the new pads and disks being fitted. Will this sort it self out or do I have any other cheap options to get this sorted.
I have heard that the disks can be machined to fix the issue, does anyone know anyone in the manchester area who can do this for me ? Is this a good idea ?

Have you tried bedding them in again? ie a few stops from 90->50 just off locking up?
You could try some wire wool on it. Do not use regular sand paper or emery cloth as the aluminum oxide abrasive material will permeate the cast iron surface and make the condition worse. Do not bead blast or sand blast the discs for the same reason.
I think getting your disc skimmed is the techy phrase your looking for. Dunno much about that though.
