At the moment we have an 05 Mini Cooper that the wife uses 97.5% of the time.
We tried out the new Clio Cup 200 on Sunday and was mightly impressed, we have a budget of �16k+ and want a hatchback.
For the life of me I cannot think of any other cars that would make me smile like we both did on Sunday for the money.
The top money is on Liquid Yellow or Albi Blue.
Don’t knock it till you tried one.
Any other sensible/quite warmish daily runarounds that I should consider (forget the Mito).
Must have room for 2 suitcases.
Evo mag gave it a positive review - but that means sod all !

I loved my 197 Cup, & was very sorry to see it go in May.
You’ll find (if Slimcat will allow it), that the Cup is brilliant on track too - handling/brakes superb, but you’ll need to switch the bloody ESP off! Mine had the standard seats, which were perfectly fine, but if possible, go for the Recaros
As for colour - personal choice, but I wouldn’t get a liquid yellow one. Thought you’d be after that “kryton green type”, or even white!
Hope you can sort out a deal.

Have a look at a nearly new BMW 123d… I had the 118d and the handling was brill… especially the Lotus like turn in!
Does not the Clio still have that ‘sideways’ crabbed driving position… I presume those under 5 feet would not notice!
Then again, drive the latest Mini Cooper S… a lot different to the first one.
