Is there any difference in the kit for the S1 Elise and the S1 Exige? Want to know if the dampers are the same length etc, give the same wheel drop or if the damping is set different in any way.
AFAIK, they are not the same, but better you call Nitron to confirm
i agree with George, AFAIK the standard kit are the same but call Nitron to double check - they can also customise valving and spring rates to suit your needs.
Thanks i will try them tomorrow or next week.
I thought they were the same, other than the config Guy sells them in. You can have them how you like, but I think as std the springs are stiffer and ride height slightly lower for the Exige (that’s adjustable anyway, just a bit of as pain once they’re on the car).

Springs for the Elise are 325/400 and from what i can see looks the same as the Exige rates. Makes sense that the ride height might be different, and that might be the reason for the 2 separate part numbers.
The std Exige set-up I got was 350/something.

you can run whatever springs you like the dampers are exactly the same, same chassis, same wishbones, same fixing points
Thanks Ian, i did try and ring Guy today but they must be shut for Easter. Only need to now this because there are a couple of Elise sets for sale but i dont want to buy one if there not the same as the Exige kit.

Cheers thats what i thought, just didnt want to buy a set and find i wanted to change the springs right away.
Kind of defeats the object of a second hand kit if you have to spend out 150 odd on new springs.
