Thanks Uldis - maybe a quick trip to the wheelie bin is in order…
I also noticed that there were cavities or pits in the surface of some of the pads where chunks up to 10mm across had broken off up to a depth of 1.5 to 2mm. Anyone else experience this.
I am running with Eliseparts ali belled discs that are grooved and cross drilled.
My last set of pagids were run down to the glue and the performance remained very good indeed. With heavy track use you may find that the pedal goes wooden before this happens though.

I ran my first set of pagids right down to about 2 or 3mm and found that they actually separated completely from the backing plate whilst on a trackday. The resulting disc to backing plate contact ruined the discs. Maybe I was unlucky.

Yep, I’ve had chunks (size of your small fingernail) disappear from my Pagids. Not good

Not good, drilled AND grooved are mainly for looks. You’ll find better braking performance with solid or grooved only disks.
Drilled AND grooved are very hard on pads and offer less effective friction zone (less material on contact)

I’m stuck with what discs I can get to fit the original Eliseparts ali bells. I know that there was some talk of the discs being available in grovved format only, but I have yet to see any for sale? If anyone knows of any please shout up.
