Top job by Nitron - last serviced 4 years ago, 2 dampers were leaking oil, & the springs knackered.

Sweet, they look like new !
Out of interest, how much is it going to cost you including removal and refit ?
David
Yep, they’ve come back like new (the springs are new) - only 1 week turnaround too - excellento.
The fabulous Edwards Boyz took care of the damper removal/refit, whilst carrying out a full service/geo etc.
Rob
Did you get get them re valved to the new spec?
Dave
No, Dave. They’re now 8 years old ie original Nitron Spec & they’ve always felt okay to me. TBH I don’t play around with the settings once I’m happy how they are track, & in fact I didn’t touch them for 3 years after their last service! Of course I’m only having fun on trackdays, so I can’t be arsed “twiddling” with them
Thats a good turn around time Pesky, CN’s sent my adjustable billies back for a leak and it has taken 6 weeks and thay have only just come back

C/mon Rob spit it out
Chris
I’m still recovering!
In all fairness, they needed quite a bit more than a normal service - loads of parts were replaced, & the new springs alone were 220 plus vat. Total bill (incl vat & next day return delivery) ended up at 846. Still, much cheaper than a new set, & in the state they were in, they were worth “not a lot”, so spreading the cost over 4 years…
Hey Rob!
Tell me… why new springs? Was this a rate change or just because the old ones were rusty?
They do look the dogs however!
Pete
New springs because the old ones (not Eibach) were well rusty & grtting past their sell by date - I reckon I did about 40K miles on them. I’ve gone for the same ratings ie 450f & 550r, cos the old ones felt right to me.
I am curious Pesky, I like the rates on the springs: what diameter/height you go with? I have 2"dia/5" height. 5" not too healthy on droop. Just refurbed my Dynamics 3-ways after 8 years - $165USD. Sounds like a good deal, but its all b/c I bought them for $4633 (in 2002 US dollars).

Sorry, but I don’t know, as I just asked Nitron for Eibach replacements. Suggest you send Peter at Nitron an email for details.
Cheers
