Nitron dampers re-gassing

Hi All

Its been a while since I’ve been here (that’s what having kids does) and I need some help with a damper issue. I’ve got some 46mm Nitron one way dampers on my Exige S2 and the rear right quickly developed a knocking from new. This was about 4 years ago and in the last 3 years I have done about 700 miles and so its never been dealt with. I suspect the damper has leaked the gas, has anyone here had a similar issue and does anyone know how to re-gas them? I’m handy with the tools and a friend has the nitrogen so I want to try recharging it and seeing if that is the issue before I send it back. I was hoping to find a user manual online.

Welcome back :wave: No idea really but wouldn’t you rather just send it back to Nitron, it’ll certainly comes off the car easy enough. No hassle, peace of mind…

Hey Jonny thanks. Yeah the damper is off and happy to pay it is just I have a track day in 3 weeks and Nitron’s turnaround is 3 weeks too. I will send it back anyways but this is just a temporary fix.

No idea never heard of anyone doing this, I always suggest sending back to Nitron
