Would make servicing a short journey for me then.
The exposure they’ve got from the support races for BTCC will not have done them any harm at all.
And I actually do like the shape - which helps.
i think it looks cracking, got a bit of aston martin at the front with a Z4M side profile.
yeah love the look of them, quite cool inside too and I bet you could get them to cherry pick option off the racers and G50/55s here and there.
Tune that duratec up no trouble
That F400 looks like the Farbond GTS!?
It’s the very same, Ian… except it’s “Farboud”

Original Farboud car was very interesting - anyone know where that one ended up?
Do you mean the one that looked like a Porsche GT1 - if so, Porsche said it looked too much like their car & took the appropriate action to “kill it”? (IIRC)
The Farboud GTS project was sold to Chris Marsh (son of Marcos founder), who then sold it to Ginetta.
Rob - yes - that’s the beauty. I think they displayed it at the Autosport Show one year. I actually have one of the brochures - just went and dug it out. It was just called a Farboud GT then with a V6 twin turbo with 2 options of 500 or 600 bhp (Audi sourced?).
Steve
Yeah it was to be Audi powered. I think it was the 2002 Autosport Show, & it did indeed look fab…so did the ladies (note not the usual car/bike show scrubbers) who were in attendance on the Farboud stand.
OK - I’m off to look for any photos I may have taken. How can you remember that much detail!
It’s an age thing - the last month is a blur, but 10 years ago no probs!
Hope you find some pics
