Invitation, Track Days and New Communications Forum If you are in Chichester, West Sussex, England on Friday February 2nd, the evening before the Lotus Life Track Day at Goodwood, why not visit Portfield Sports Cars on Quarry Lane (01243 528500). The Lotus Life team will be visiting Lotus’ new dealer in Chichester, Portfield Sports Cars. It will be an opportunity to have a chat, gain a greater insight into Lotus DNA, see the cars as well as get to know our new friends at Portfield’s. It will also be a chance for you to give us your feedback. Portfield have also extended an invitation for coffees and a chat after the track day on February 3rd.At the last count we still have a couple of places for the Goodwood track day. Also are now taking bookings for Cadwell Park on pril 4th and registering interest in the Le Mans weekend April 21 and 22 (details on the members web site or call 01953 608981 for more information or to book ring 0870 036 2277).We would also like to announce that until the end of February, the members’ bulletin board will have a thread hosted by Nick Adams development manager of the current Elise (an engineer by trade who races an historic Elan in his spare time). He will be answering any technical and design questions that you may have on the Elise and is interested in your feedback. This is an opportunity to have access to a key player in the Lotus engineering process.Please take advantage, we are looking to involve other Lotus personalities in the coming months. After the success of the Christmas shopping/factory tour day (which incidentally I would like to thank everyone who came and supported the day) we are starting some evening get togethers at the factory. These will be a chance to meet fellow enthusiasts and have some refreshments in the Lotus Sports and Social Club bar (unless too many people come in which case we will find another venue, please drop us a line so that we can gauge numbers if you are interested). We will also see if we can get some Lotus ‘stars’ on hand to have their ears bent.
