Just checking in to say Hi to one and all. Like a few others on here recently moved from M3 to an Exige. A 190 NA so maybe not quite as quick off the mark but so much more fun!

Nothing wrong with an M3 at all I just didn’t have the need for another 4 seater. I have an X5 as a family car and an old Jeep for hauling stuff to the tip. I couldn’t justify keeping the M3 purely for recreational driving on cost whereas the Exige is more “fun” and is less to run.
An M3 is a hell of an alrounder though. Excellent cruiser, good perfomance and handling and 4 seats.
If you get serious spend time researching the cars thoroughly. Some real problem cars around, even AUCs’ from dealers.
I just bought an Exige S to replace my Noble. 18 months ago I bought a Convertible M3. I thoght it would be a fun car for the summer but I have to say it was a mistake. Compared to the “sports cars” it’s too slow ( off the line) and compared to my 535i its a poor family car. I wouldnt dream of tracking the M3, it lolls about like a double decker.
