Newbie with an odd dashboard

Hi

After years of thinking (and dreaming) about it, I finally went out a got an Exige S2. After about 30 mins I feel like I’ve drunk about 10 espressos, I can’t wait for roundabouts and people in front are merely chances for overtaking!

Last week, when I first used the car at night, the light behind the rev counter and the speedometer didn’t come on… so I thought that was normal and was using the KPH digital readout for speed. Then this week, it came on. Anyone else had that?

I’ve also had a lot of people simply not see me at junctions (when they’re pulling out) so I’ve taken to leaving the lights on most of the time.

Can’t wait for the running in period to finish…

Admittedly dodgy dashboard wiring is not the most exciting of topics!

Does anyone know any websites like these

That list good roads to drive on?

Congrats on the new car.

Mine did it to, or so I thought as it turned out to be I had turned it off using the backlight adjust function on the steering column. Have a look in the Owners Manual.

Oh, and dont worry about sounding boring either youre in good company here; in fact Im pretty sure Sean has a poster of the Exige wire diagram plastered on his bedroom ceiling
