Newbie me

A very decent one is at LRV in Metallic Aqua, 1 lady owner who has never tracked it also has the Lotus 190 upgrade.

Very nice car

Last 3 digits I think.

What are the servicing costs and durations for an exige?

Every 6000 miles oil and filter change, the A B C services i think are the same as an Elise.

Cost wise not sure, mine has never been to a dealer as i carry out all work myself. A lot depends on if you use the main dealer or specialist.

What are the servicing costs and durations for an exige?

Buget on 500 quid a time, & 4hrs each…maybe all day if they find a problem :

OTOH, its 6000mls or 12 months

Nope, only 601 made all in all.

But that was just “Exiges” right? Not the Motorsport Elise’s as well…

According to the Lotus Elise, the official story book there were 65 Sports Elises built from 1999-2002
And 601 Exiges built from July 2001 to 2001

And escaper, actually, I never found that out. Couldn’t tell you how it relates to the VIN #

Uldis, its as IDG says above… the last 3 digits of the VIN plate is the sequence

The servicing costs for the exige are either the same a an Elise 160 or very close Sinclares list out the prices on their website

Isn’t that Yellow Exige a little overpriced?

Just wondering because I have seen some ads of similar cars in the 20k range…

But the car may be in better shape than the others…

Yellow is the best colour, and clear worth a significant premium over inferior colours

Except my car as I have a strange buildnumber, 81 as opposed to 80 followed by the 3 digit number.
And the Dataplate says “Prototype” instead of “as per SVA blah blah”

williams do seem to price at the top end, but its the cost to change I’ll be haggling with. I’m hoping for a figure around 10k to change. (I currently have a 2000 S1 elise)

Carsten

that’s interesting… why so then ??

I think Carstens Exige is the one which Jason Plato drove round the ring and was the demo car.
