Newbie Joins The Club!

Hi All,

Having lurked on here for a while now I have finally joined the club and got myself an Exige S. 57 Plate in Laser Blue. I owned an S1 Elise 111s some years ago and never lost the bug. Really pleased with the car.

Thanks to all the posts on these forums, got loads of great tips on the Exige before taking the plunge.

Mine has got an Induction kit on it but a Standard Exhaust. Trying to decide whether to upgrade it. If such a thing exists I would like something that adds more noise under acceleration, but isn’t too intrusive when cruising at 80mph. I don’t plan on tracking it much, if at all. Any recommendations? Read lots of posts on Larini and 2Bular, but wonder if they will be too much?

Cheers,
Steve

Welcome Steve…

Well first recommendation is that YOU MUST track it! :sunglasses:

Good luck. Pete.

Welcome and for more noise yet subtle at speed and no drone 2bular 24x8 and then pick your exit type

Seconded, can’t go wrong with a 8x24.
Welcome too.

Thirded if that is such a word!

Hi Ya

Thanks for the replies.

Looking at the 2bular web site, the section for the Exige S lists an 8x22. The 8x24 appears to be a GT3 style and I don’t really want one like that. Want to keep the car looking standard, just with bit more of a noise that justifies the looks.

Anyone have a comments about an 8x22? Looking on other forums it seems to get good ratings.

Sorry it is the 22 that I have
Looks standard, sounds awesome!

Best bet is to give Jim a ring or email tell him what you want noise level style etc and he’ll make something perfect for your requirements

8x22 will do you fine if you want it to look standard

ade, yes I know I am a bit of a lightweight compared to the more hardcore crowd on here. Maybe I will learn over time

Hello
