New Wiper Blades

Thanks

Ok It’s the C1 adapter
There is a little tab on the adapter push it in and wiper will slide down the arm and just do the reverse when fitting the new one and it should click into place

Hope this helps

You sir, are a star! Thanks ever so much for your help, I really do appreciate it!!

I’ll fit it over the weekend and hopefully avoid the box kicking that moomin did haha!

Lol , it’s really easy once you know how , box kicking and tool throwing is optional

Always happy to help

Ok, I’ve spent the best part of a hour trying to get the adapter to click into place (I told you I wasn’t very technical). Either I’m being remarkably stupid or I’m…no…I am being remarkably stupid!

Right, so I’ve got my little C1 adapter that I’m meant to ā€œclick into placeā€ on the arm first. First question, does this need to be clicked into place before attempting to attach it to the arm, or do I need to clip it to the arm first and then click it onto the blade?

Here is the adapter:

Here is me trying to slide it into place:

But it doesn’t ā€œclickā€. It’s just all wobbley and falls out. Am I being REALLY thick?!?

I can see that it’s wrong from the pictures, but according to the guide, it slots in that way.

Can anyone give me some pointers before I go and kick more stuff in my garage please :frowning:

PM sent

Ha ha just to save you the embarrassment!!!

Only joking, I’m still looking for the engine in the front of the car!

I can’t say what adapter it is , I’m not home till later , I tried most of them on there own until I found the one that fits , I then put it on the wiper blade first and the pushed both home on the arm .

I’m using the C1 fit the blade to the adapter and slot in as per my photo’s
The adapter is the correct way up in your photo’s

Yeah yeah guys, I know I’m being stupid

I’ve checked the other adapters and the C1 is the only one that fits in. However it doesn’t seem to want to ā€œclickā€ into place.

Just to clarify, getting the old blade off took me all of about 30 seconds. Very easy. What I can’t seem to get is how and where the adapter connects to the arm. I can see how the adapter clicks into the back of the wiper blade, but it’s getting the adapter in place on the arm that’s causing me grief.

Feel a complete idiot, but I can’t work it out.

A few more photos (of me being an idiot):

I’ve clipped the C1 adapter to the blade itself. What I can’t seem to do is get the hook of the arm to clip into it.

Check PM again

I’ve already sent this to Marcus, but thought I’d post here as well.

I don’t think the C1 adapter I have is quite right (or maybe it’s just me that’s got it wrong…).

Hmm according to this link the adapter is C3:

Maybe time I had another go…

I’VE DONE IT!!!

Massive thanks to Marcus. It appears 2010 Exiges need the C3 adapter rather than C1. Once I had that worked out, it took me less than a minute to fit.

Now I’m going to crack open a bottle of red haha! Happy days

Yay!! get in ! have to say i did call my wiper blade some not nice names Lol

For anyone who is looking to buy the PIAA wiper blade mentioned above, I thought Demon Tweaks were taking the P*ss with the 8.75 standard delivery charge so Ive ordered the same blade, slighty cheaper and with free delivery from here:
