i get the impression that apprrovals have about a 24hr window before it lapses and peeps cant re-register with the same contact detail? seems odd anyway?

I disagree. Manual approval means the site isn’t open to spam bots that plague many other sites.

Is it possible to allow some other trusted users access to approve new people?

Thanks for the approval.

I’d been waiting to join for a long time, and didn’t know about approvals until a few months ago (perhaps other dont realise this too), but what I found out last week when trying to log on, was that I could re-register my username - which came as a suprise as I’d already done this ages ago. Do they fall off after a certain amount of time?

Perhaps Embeddedbob and Dilligaf need to apply again.

Anyway - once again, thanks!
