New Sprint Owner

Hello,

New Exige Sprint owner here. The car is well known in the Lotus circles being 1984. It took a long time coming, but the car has finally arrived. Thanks to the previous owners for their support/knowledge/my lengthy questionning and phone calls and Tom Blackmore at Divine Automotive.

I’m a previous S1 Elise and Caterham R300 Superlight owner. First drive out yesterday, and it is certainly an experience. I’ve a few questions, but i’ll add these to the appropriate section of the forum.

Keith, thanks for pointing me in the direction of the forum on Sunday.

Lee.

Welcome !

That looks superb

Welcome to the exiges.com forum.

Welcome, great car. A (Blue) Sprint came up for sale shortly after I bought my S2 - it would have had me seriously tempted to stretch the budget a bit if I was still on the market.

Wow that looks great - congrats - more pictures please :+1:

Lovely looking car, enjoy! :+1:

thank you

I do like a sprint colour scheme, yours looks great

Welcome to all things Exige.

I do like the Sprint’s and nearly got one before my current Exige. Cracking cars.

Any questions or advise, please do post here.

Being the previous owner who put at least 8k of those miles on it you have bought a great example, great purchase!

Lee,

Welcome. You will find this is the best site for real Exige knowledge. It was me that purchased your Caterham screen on Sunday, to be install next Wednesday at Donington. You will find that quite a few of us in here have Caterhams, one even has a Clio.

Welcome Keith

Thanks for the responses, folks. Very happy indeed. Apologies, Keith. I’ve amended the original post.

When I was looking for an Exige S2, I noticed your car on Pistonheads and immediately put it on my shortlist, but was informed that it was sold.

My kind of car - great example.

Enjoy!

Ahh, yes I was informed another interested party had gone for the RGB that was for sale.

Welcome from another Sprint owner (blue). Yours looks fantastic. I really want to see a yellow one in the flesh. I’ve not seen one yet.
