New site feature, maybe??

I notice how there are always people looking for advice that can be easily found in the workshop manual. It’s OK thinking I will buy a manual tomorrow, but when you need the info NOW, that isn’t much use.

I have the manual on CD (as I am sure many others do to), so could we not have an area of the site where the manuals could be uploaded so that people could either view them or download them??

Just a thought.

Sean…

I think a legendary member of Exiges.com has done this. I only refrain from naming him in case the peeps from Lotus don’t actually like this sort of thing happening.

Ian

Only problem with some of the versions floating about is that they were not searchable - I converted my version and it is an absolute godsend typing in a word and it bringing up all the references - binoculars rule

Correct, Lotus own the copyright so it wouldn’t be allowed. The Hong Kong guys put it up on their site but removed it after a request from Lotus.

Is there a specific exige one or just the elise manual ?

Theres a supplement to the standard Elise one for the Exige

Thanks Steve,

just got one sent to me from ebay. - looked at it and could only see the elise manual.

But - Just looked again and now found the supplement.

Excellent

I did exactly the same, our company does scanning and OCR software so it only took a few minutes to convert all of the copies into a few PDF’s that were searchable

Hmm, searchable, now that is interesting!

And very good the searchable feature is too
