I finally got my reverie seats fitted in time for Donnington. I went for the single skin seats, with a black alcantara insert with the S2 logo produced by the Lotus trim shop.
I have to say I’m delighted with the way they have turned out.

The harnesses are Schroth Profi II-6. The lap and shoulder straps will clip in an out easily so I can use the standard 3 point belts on the road.
Many thanks to Marianne and Greg at Hangar 111 for sorting this all out.
Thought they were very nice
They look very nice, especially with the Exige logo.
I see the main connector for the harness is attached to the crotch straps - does that mean the harnesses cannot be worn as a 4 point?
Nice seats indeed. They look so thin i would be scared I broke them when getting in and out!

They can’t be used as a 4 point harness. If you’re for a Schroth four pointer you’d be looking at the Profi-II ASM. You could then add a crutch strap to make it a 5 or 6 point. The ASM has a special shoulder strap for the inner shoulder with “an energy conversion system” to help prevent slipping under the lap straps when no crotch strap is being used.

No chance of that, I think they’d break me before I broke them.

I notice you still have the 3 point standard seat belts in - what do you do with the harness buckle when using that? I’d be worried about the block & tackle in a whiplash type incident

Fortunately it wouldn’t be a problem as the 2 straps end up running under your thighs so it wouldn’t flail around in an accident.
They’re incredible looking! Are they Mulsanne C or B?
Ben.

They are the Mulsanne B, single skin. The C are even nicer, but would have been an extra 700, and I couldn’t justify it. It may have been different in an Elise where you see the rear of the seat through the rear window, but in the Exige I don’t think its an issue.
One last question; how much would I expect to pay for the Alcantara inserts?

Speak to Greg or Marianne at Hangar 111. It depends on exactly what you want done. They can arrange anything from a simple insert, through to a full trim for the whole seat.

When you speak to them, mention you saw my seats here, you never know, I might get a beer out of it.
