No where near a world or national record, but definitely a personal best.
I managed to change all the pads on the car in just over an hour and still have all the skin on my knuckles. Its not often I start a job on the car and find it goes to plan. Fingers crossed I haven’t spoken too soon.
Glad I just went ahead and did it because there was only a couple of mills left on the front and I doubt it would have made it through Cadwell next weekend.
Not bad going. I can do the fronts, rears and a complete (caliper off) bleed in about 2 hours now. That includes jacking time and (at least) one bottle of Stella.
Pesky! LOL!
Just over an hour is well impressive dude
My record was replacing a caliper and pads on an Integra in 35mins
Damn I have to learn how to do this as it takes nearly 2 hours to drive to the garage.
Once I have a wheel off I tend to find that I spend more time cleaning, polishing and looking at other bits than swapping the pads themselves!

I realised my mistake the moment I posted.

Well stop doing it then, otherwise you’ll go blind too
Thats impressive,
I put new pads in a few weeks ago which i did quite quickly as i wanted to watch the england game which was about to start later that evening.
Afterwards as i was watching the game i was reading about how to bed them in on my laptop infront of the telly. As i was reading i realized that i had not chamfered the edges of the pads at it recomended on the pagids site.
I was due at Hockenheim the next day so i waited till half-time and went down and changed them…my apartment is five floors up, my garage is four floors below ground, so i ran 9 floors down (there is no lift) unpacked my tools, jacked up the car, wheels off, pads out, chamfered the edges on all four front pads, put everything back together and ran back up 9 floors…all in the 15min half-time.
I was quite proud of that …still i have had so much hassle with the brakes and had them in bits so often, i can practically do it blinfolded…
Not an Exige but had to replace a seal on my Golf gearbox once.
Drove in the garage 40 mins to get the box out 5 min to do the seal and 40 mins back in again

Oh no couldn’t do that, the arch liners are in a horrible mess. I’d be at it all day if I started trying to patch them up. They’ve worn through behind the lights, and the clam at back of the light has also worn through. Something to keep me amused next month.

Wow that seems quite easy (except for the prying the pistons apart perhaps). Going to print it out and give it a try when I need pads, thanks.
