New Nitrons on the way!

Dropped the Exige off at JS Racing yesterday and hope to pick it up next week end with the new suspension all sorted… Can’t wait!

Stopped off at Mad O’Rourkes for a Desparate Dan Pie on the way back, that was something to see - I can pack away most meals, but after about 2/3 of this one I had to admit defeat! If you’re round there it’s worth a visit!

Hopefully will have lost the pounds that I put on there for when I get the Exige back…

Saw your mean machine on the ramps, Ben - looking good!!

Mark

Great news Mark, will have to get some trackdays sorted to test them out

Thanks Mark. I miss my car…sob :frowning:

What spec Nitrons you going for?

Out in Germany this week so I don’t have the paperwork - I think it’s track pro - sounds great.

Wishbones need doing though now - just like yours are being done!

Winter job for me…

lemme know when you’re planning on heading up to JSR ben, might look at getting mine up for some nitrons, so could drive you up if you can drive me back!

Three fitted and one wrong bracket supplied… hopefully OK for Saturday collection!

Mark

That would be ideal matey! Not sure of the plan yet or where it will go when John is done as my drive is still part of a building site. I’ll be in touch. One thing is for sure,…I want my car back and to get on track, Anglesey feels like a long time ago :frowning:

You may need an outboard motor & bouyancy tanks. Are you A048’s or similar :astonished:

Took the advice & have gone for 46mm Track Day Pros.

Can’t wait to try them out in the morning!

Weather is going to be fine tomorrow…

…for ducks

Sunshine all the way there and back!
JS did a great job as you would imagine, Nitrons set to 10 & I’ll need to get a couple of track sessions to sort out the settings I prefer.
Any clues from you guys with them already?
Car feels so much more stable into & out of corners.
Love it!

I have Hofmann Nirons, the old diameter, on 550/700s
with a 20 dial range, I’m 10 from hard front, 8 from hard back for road.
I was advised the back needs to be harder, but on track , in the dry I find the back a bit twitchy when the front moves about on fast sweeping corners and so dial up (harder) by 4 front and 2 back (OEM ARB on max setting)
I think you are in the right ball park. Just dial them up by a couple of clicks for track ( maybe 1 if wet)

Just booked into BAT Donington evening on Monday next week to try them out properly!
