Decided I needed a new mug coaster.

We have a new fibre laser cutter at work. Some spare 3mm Inconel sheet…

Obviously this was all to test the machine and its quality. Just a lucky coincidence, it happened to cut some BMW ones for an engineer too…

it is - It has some great thermal cycle properties. It was more of a this is something different/cool.
