Hi everyone,
I pick up my new S2 this afternoon and I’d just like to introduce myself, some of the Scottish folks will know me already. I’m from Aberdeen and previously had an Elise (S2 111S) in which I did 42K happy miles including innumerable trackdays and latterly also Sprints and Hillclimbs.

Cheers,
Ali
PS New car is Mag blue, Performance Pack, A/C and I had full Defendall dealer fitted for the Aberdeenshire sandblasting road runs.

Andale! andale!

A fast Eliser turned Exiger.
I hope you don’t miss your soft top?

Welcome!

W-E-L-C-O-M-E ! ! !

Good choice! And I hope you find Exiges.com an enjoyable part of the ownership experience (what do I sound like?! ).

Why is it I can’t get this image of a terrified bloke spreadeagled across the front of your car with stones bouncing off his head!

Hi there…

Best advice I can give is to not take the roof off by mistake - it probably won’t do the car any harm, but the exigers would string you up !!!

It’s been off already…

…but just by the dealer to fit the harnesses.

We’ll let you off then, provided you tell us the name of the dealer…

Welcome and enjoy the Exige…

another scot eh? Good man. Where you based?
If you happen to get cut up by a chrome orange flame spitting s1…give me a wave

Aberdeen, see top of thread.

Just back from a wee run with the Elise boys, up to 350 miles now and the A048’s feel much better - good enough to keep up even with 4.5K limited revs and half throttle.

The running in limits are only really a problem for overtakes (esp motorbikes)…

I have a hamster loose in the roof though, is there a special tool for the fixings (if there is I didn’t get one)?
I’m not taking it off, honest!

Cheers,
Ali

PS Dealer fitted the harnesses wrong. The shoulder straps are marked left and right on the buckle and they’re the wrong way round (both seats).

I guess they went left and right whilst looking at the seat!

Welcome to the dark-side (well youve actually got the poofy hairdressers coupe… but welcome all the same )

maybe see you tommorrow at KH
