Just saying hi and very pleased my account has been approved.

From an Azure blue Elise with 2l Duratec engine to an Elise with Exige panels and some updates :

Removed nitrons, fitted Quantum shocks, removed std gearbox for CR box, Removed airfilter on throttlebodies for Jenvey airbox, other trumpets, stainless 4-2-1 exhaust headers (through the boot) with repackable silencer, other 2l duratec engine, team dynamic wheels, etc. etc.

Build mostly for trackdays and/or road trips.
Conversion took 15 months. Ready somewhere April 2012.
Only did 2 trackdays so far on Zolder. One dry, one very wet( huge fun ) and a trip to the Nordschleiffe with a friend.

The 2l engine will be replaced by a tuned 2l (old engine) or a 2.3l of 2.5l I4 Duratec.
Other then that going to try to get the weight down.

That’s very nice :sunglasses:

Proper low !

Thanks jonnyfox.

jfk : Had a passenger on board and entering the corner after start/finish on Zolder with around 70mph. So car is leaning somewhat.

Running 105/115 with 195/45/16 up front (re050a tyres)

Welcome, nice car :sunglasses:

always love an Orange S1 very nice indeed

Nice…especially the color, cant say i m biased

Thanks guys!

I could not get it over my heart to buy an original Exige S1 to use at trackdays. I would have made a garage queen of it.
Was the reason selling my previous S2 135R that was a minter.
So this car is build to be used and has a thin layer of paint. Drive it warm carefully, change oil frequently, but is it as adviced by the doctor 3 times a day ( i wish lol )

Lautll421 : I have looked at your car multiple times , beautifull example.

It looks like you managed to smooth out the leading edge of the roof better than stock! Is it longer and extending over the windshield frame?

Black screw heads on the headlamp covers perhaps?

I have to confess I do not really know what you mean with the leading edge.
The airscoop is extending over the front windshield frame.

On pictures everything always looks nice. In real life the car looks less spectaculair. Until I have enough of track days , then it will be made more smooth, expensive paint job, etc. and turn it into a garage queen.

very nice…

welcome by the way…
