I’m sorry to say I just can’t get along with this new look. I find I am not visiting as much. Somehow it’s not as easily accessible but I’ll keep trying.I hasten to add that I am not agitating for change.

Out on interest, what bits are you having problems with ? It doesnt feel that different to me. It does seem quieter since the upgrade on here though.
I agree, I think I prefered the old way, but I guess its just a time thing.
Sadly I agree, I have not been on so much since the change. I cant really say what it is I just find it hard work to look at…
A new skin for the forum is not costly/lot of work.
I do apprecaite the fact that good old Mr Admin does kindly provide and maintain this forum for us to use, but I can see what people mean. I liked the old forum.
One bit I do miss is the “show all” button for a post unless someone can tell me how to do it on the new version ?
I like it, it’s quite funky actually and it’s more the people I come back to be apart of…nothing to do with how it looks.

Hope I haven’t opened too big a can of worms, and I do appreciate Mr Admin’s efforts. but . . . can’t quite define and describe the different “feel” to this version.

The only thing that’s really changed is the graphics, from blue to beige and some fonts, but I appreciate that it may feel like a new pair of pants after wearing the old ones for so long.
Time is tight at the moment, but I’ll see about changing it to how it looked… unless someone is kind enough to supply a new CSS file for us all ?
The regulars seem to have reduced their postings OR is it something to do with the recession/summertime/etc??
Admittedly it took a while to get used to the new layout which is in line with a lot of “modern” forums but apart from not knowing how to rate members its fine by me.
(For a silly old fart that is saying something, I can assure you)

Well, I’ve made a few changes today, to go back to the old blue, and the old font, and changed some padding, I think it looks nearer to what we had now.

Always liked this forum, and it is one of the best working forums, mainly because it takes you straight to the unread posts when you click the link, most others you have to scroll down. Thanks again Dave for still supporting this forum it’s still the best place to go as it needs no moderating
