Attached the link for 255 HP on the exige S.
I personally know the owner, he races in the WTCC (Stefano D’Aste, he developed the kit with Ing. Limongi from Team Lotus Sport Cadena Champion GT 20060). His shop is 100 % dedicated to Lotus!!!
The kit includes:
Cams
Valve springs
Induction kit
Inox exhaust manifold inox
Kat racing inox
Module lambda
Air-scoop
Sorry, i do not see the point of all that stuff just to get the same power the factory gets out of a cup car…which is just jets and pulleys (and a map of course)
Komo tec also do a 250 S which is only a new map and a more efficient water/air cooler.
So i cannot see the need for all that other stuff.

If it was 300 hp then i could understand…
The thing i dont understand is that nobody in the uk can copy what Lotus do to their Cup cars. If it is just jets, pulley and a map why can’t someone offer this? I even asked Lotus to do the upgrade to my S and said money is no object and they still turned me down. It seems I have to sell my car and buy a Cup to get the extra power which is the same engine anyway!!! Annoying.
It was written that if you remove the cat + exhaust you have 242 HP? Bruh_la knows this well?
So with and new intercooler system, pulleys, map, cams and valve springs with no cat + exhaust you will have and Exige at 315 HP? This is seems too easy and not realistic?
I agree with Alirc for sure the safest way is just jets , pulley and map but it is so strange that nobody is offering such a simple option?
Why?
I am a bit confused also…
I need more power since I drive the car at 2,300 mt (in Mexico City)
Does somebody have a clear of the options available? I have a budget of 2,500 Euros…
If you have an altitude problem, you need more boost which could be solved with a smaller pulley on the supercharger and nothing else IMO. Also, I have always thought that the position of the intake for the roof scoop is a bit suspect as it looks like a low pressure area and therefore not getting much air to the intercooler. I don’t think it is a coincidence that all the full racing versions have the intake further forward at the top of the windscreen.
If you have a buget then leave it alone…But if you want more power you have to go A/W intercooler, smaller pulley, a proper tuned ECU and lower compression forged pistons…If you want to see what I’ve done go to http://www.monkeytuner.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=759 and see for yourself…
Chris,
Where do I get the smaller pulley? Do I need new injectors and new mapping were can I get all these?
On the other hand looking at Frank, post in moremonkey I guess that increasing boost in such a high compression engine, it is not a great idea?
