Just to show what I have just had made by my local exhaust builder Pipewerx, I am well impressed.
It has 2 inch primaries and 2.5 inch system with two repackable silencers and also a nice removable db killer to fit in the tail pipe.

Sadly its for a friends car and not mine… I have just been roped in to help put it together… Hopefully it will go pretty well! He is paranoid that my diesel will pass him
At least your diesel will pass an MOT

Hi,
It is track use only hence no cat and should be fairly quiet for some strict track days.
The engine is na with 52mm itbs
Wisesco 12.7:1 piston on h beam rods
Mild ported head with up rated springs and stg 3 bc .cams.
Hoping for 260+ with sensible rev limit.

Nice. Are you able to say what the damage was?

Hi Ian,
930 all in.
I think it was very good value considering it was custom made and had the 2 re-packable silencers and the db killer.
however I think it took him a bit more time than he hoped so I would guess a repeat might cost a bit more.
He will make any custom system to your requirements if you give him a spec or even just the car.

Going slight off topic, why try and achieve that without a charger?
Cheers, Ian

Phil must have a bit of Jonny in him
From what Jonnys wife told me last night, I think it really is only a ‘bit’ as well.

Hi,
the db killer is basically an insert with a perforated tube and some decent wrapped fibreglass cloth around the outside that is inserted if it is too noisy. I will take a photo if you want.
