Hi folks new to this forum . I have just bought an 06 Exige Sport, 42k from a dealer. I have had elises before the last one being a 52 plate sports tourer back in 2003.
Going to use this as a second car.
So far Iam really impressed with it taking into consideration the miles which put a lot off.
I think the car has a non standard exhaust but wont be sure of make until I get the diffuser of at the weekend .
Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement induction kit ? or is it not worth changing ?
Not many choices for induction, sadly quite a lot of them cause MIL lights and poor running, the TRD one from Lotus directly seems to be the most popular.

A pain to fit if you have goalkeeper’s hands. If you do decide to fit it yourself, the bracket does need bending and you may need to re drill the cover to fit the bracket. Whatever you do, ensure the outer case is not under tension or the seal won’t fit neatly.
Thanks for all the info ! Iam at my local lotus dealer f1 newcastle to get a part tommorrow ill ask for a price if its lotus supplied, failing that ill get one as suggested on here.
Sounds like it can be troublesome to fit , ill have a go myself
I am changing my filter at the weekend I will try to get some pictures, however the only thing you actually need to do to make it fit correctly is redrill the mounting holes, it will all make sense when you have it apart.
I got my TRD off my car last weekend to replace it for the VIS , it was dealer fitted , even off the car the TRD won’t fit together and seal properly .
Been to F1 lotus today quoted me �99 plus vat fitted for the TRD, ,they reckon its only 1/2 labour fit one. At that price I am not going to bother getting my hands dirty ! booked in for next thursday
