I don’t mind it but on an iPhone and I’d struggle to say its any more optimised than old forum???

It’s just a change thing. None of us like change, but give us all a week or so and we will be fine

always liked the old forum, it was to me one of the only forums that actually worked really well and was easy to use, this new one will just take some getting used to…

I think once people start putting an avatar back on their profile it will appear more homely and what you’re used to.

Curious as to the reason for the change ?

  1. The old BBS software is unlikely to be supported by the developers in the years to come meaning there would have to be a change at some point.

  2. With more and more people using mobile devices we needed a BBS service that worked on mobiles.

  3. The new BBS is faster, more efficient, and has more features (once you get to know them)

It reminds me of the late 19th century when people in London used to drink untreated dirty water. When they started to install water treatment plants on the North side of the Thames and the water became tasteless and colourless people would travel to the South side for their old drinking water because they thought it tasted better.

I’ve also changed it so the user profile appears to the left of the post not the right. You may need to do a SHIFT-F5 or CTRL-F5 to see the change.

I think it’s looking great, lot more ‘up to date’ feel to it. Nice and easy to use both on a laptop and mobile device. Very impressed with the speed in which you guys did this :sunglasses:

Can you make the adjustment for larger picture files attachments ?

Larger dimensionally or files size ?

File sizes up to so that they don’t have to be reduced everytime… or maybe an auto feature that can make the adjustments.
Also add the [youtube][/youtube] feature if you can…

I tried to up load a nice image but failed . This would be good …" submitted image is 1024 pixels wide and 683 pixels high."
I’m not seeing the YouTube setting in the tool bar… :confused:
