LRV have just issued a flyer saying a Lotus Sport Exige cup 240 is going on sale in either track only or road spec…for the thick end of �47K
A least it should keep the 240r buyers happy with that little premium.
I wonder what’s on offer for that money?

Just a 240R with the cup stuff on it I imagine:
Roll cage
plumbed in fire extinguisher
fuel & battery cut outs
6 point harnesses
and thats about it.
LSD, Traction Control, Uprated Clutch, Uprated Brakes, SC Engine, T45 Roll Bar & A Frame (Full cage on the race one) Air Con (Road version), 2 way adjustable suspension, Adjustable anti roll bar, Fire extinguisher & battary master switch (Race version only as it dissables the alarm) Acusump.
That’s all I can remember at the moment, gone and left the flyer at work…

Well a 240R is 930kgs and I think that’s without a frame/cage and extinguisher.

Reading the regs you posted the other day I seem to remember TC is allowed if factory fitted or on the offical options list, same for an LSD…
Just re-read and I must not have look at the “Production” rules. You are right, as long as fitted as standard or a factory option.
