you just need the plastic fake grills for the vent behind the front wheels, unless your doing something different. Dont forget your splitter bolts

you need 4 specific wheel arch liner (bigger and wider for exige) adn the rubber, a dozen rawlntus in M5 and 6 to fix it and for the side of the rear clam on the roof

the front and rear extended plastic stuff for the wheelarch (i do have two front in stock if you want for a few quids)

you need eleven specific plates and bolts to fixe the front splitter, as previously said

Four plates and M4 bolts to fix the rearclamshell to the roof inot the M5 rawlnuts we talked about

the two black vynils decal for the rear wheel arches

the rubber fitting beneath the side siils and the rear clam

the rubbers for the front and both sides of the roof to keep (in theory) the rain apart from the interior, the clamp to hold the roof on the front

find a way to close and secure the rear engine cover there is absolutely no hinge, back plate or holes and bracket coming with your clam

you need a rubber to fix on the rear clam or on the engine cover in order to avoid any vibration

find a way to fix the rear screen to the roof (i used lexan with duct tape till i decided to go back to standard roof with the brackets)

you need two aluminium parts stuck on the rear clam and bolted on the rear subframe the same used on the first elise in 1996 and 1997, (the GRP boot on the later model won’t fit) and an aly bottom, all theses parts can be found at lotus or maybe junks or any other guys connected with maddog or is workshop at rugby

you need a rear wing and the brackets to fix it or use the motorsport one

you can use all the lights, blinkers, and the connecting loom from your elise, the rear grills, rear diffuser, front bonnet and front hinge bonnet, fusebox, ect…

of course, you need 4 exige wheels or you will have a weird look : an exige with 4 spare lambo wheels (the little wheel you discover in the rain, in the middle of nowhere, on the bottom of the trunk with the brand “50 mph speed limit”

you can find all the lotus references on Yvo websites as i bought most of the unexpected and extra parts there in september 07 (make a search sorted by dates)

it’s a big job, sounds easy as elise and exiges are based on the same car, but believe me i spent with friends more than 100 hours to adjust, remove, refit, paint, screx, unscrew, rewire, cleaning, changing, ect…

send some pics when you finished the job

that truly is the best response ever thakns mate…there are a few bits there i did not know about and will have to buy…

wheel arch liners…gutted obviously i have the elise ones

the front and rear extended plastic stuff for the wheelarch (i do have two front in stock if you want for a few quids)
what ever this is i need it

the rubber fitting beneath the side siils and the rear clam.

anyone with the above spare give us a pm. thanks.

wheel arch liners…gutted obviously i have the elise ones

and there not cheap and prone to wearing out very quickly on track

oh poo how much?

About 100 each if I remember correctly! One of mine is damaged, but I decided that no way am I paying that much for one so I fixed it with a bit of tape, glue and string

Geary does them for 80 ea, altho thats maybe + vat?

cool…any thought on wheels? do they need spacing?

you don"t need any spacer, exige wheels fits like this on the standard hubs, but the offset is different : 5 front and 7 rear and of course the size 16 and 17

i posted a picture of my car with exiges wheels and the elise rear wheel arch liner (featuring the edge of the elise clamshell) you can clearly see the difference and by the way the need of specific exiges wheelarches or ad almost 10 cm to extent the elise one
