Need Honda 6 speed JDM gearbox für K20

Broke mine in Branbds need complete JDM gearbox or 4th 5th or 6th gear
or at least parts number for 4th to 6th gear

Peter give John a call, I know we have a few Honda geaboxes in bits at the workshop. I don’t know what we have exactly, so your best bet is to chat to John.

Afraid not, all UK spec and no 4th gears. Probably for the same reason that you need one.

we were really idiots as no one of us fixed the drain-screw of our gearbox and it ran dry - the whole JDM gearbox is gone. The whole - not really the Cusco LSD survived :slight_smile:
The problem with the UK/EU spec is the huge gap between 3rd and 4th gear.
Anyway many thanks for reply and your efforts to solve my problem.
Today i bought a new JDM gearbox - don�t ask how much i have to spent for it :frowning:((

Already found a new set of 4th to 6th gear JDM as the UK spec is bullshit!

any suggestion as to what to uprate/replace on a uk spec gearbox if say we were wanting around 400hp?

take the JDM spec if you go to the circuit
stil�l there is the 1st to 3rd gear problem :frowning:((
One solution would be the M-Factory solution, but it�s quite short.
I think we build a custom one for our own.

big problem: we havte to take out the engine every time we change the gearbox or clutch :frowning:((((

Anyone knows of the roblem to get JDM spec 5th and 6th gear with single synchro body. The original JDM spec gearbox has double syncro body?
How has parts number of the single syncro body or parts number of 5th and 6th gear with double syncro body?

Interesting Mark - you saving weight by ditching the complete chassis and bolting the pedal box direct to the gearbox then ?
