N/A to supercharge upgrade

I’ve been looking for the best route to upgrade my Exige with a supercharger. There are many companies both in the uk and internationally who can sell a kit for DIY or do a full installation. I want to upgrade for road use primarily but maybe track the car occasional. I’ve read the Komtec/ Hanger111 stuff and the demonstrator went well and ticked all the boxes for my requirements. I’ve spoken to Sinclaires and Sector111. So far I’ve come up with the best deal at Blackwatch Racing. What’s the feeling and what should I be considering?
I know everyone has a different remmit when it comes to upgrading their cars but bang for buck Blackwatch racing seams the best deal if you’re not scared of going the DIY route.
What are the opinions and experiences on this and is there some reading on the subject elsewhere on the forum?

Moley.

This is my project at the moment you might want to have a read

AFAIK the BlackWatch Racing kit is practically the same as the Katana kit - they both use the Easton MP62 Blower. There are not many publicised BWR kits in the UK relative to the likes of Komo-tec & Katana/RoninSC conversions. The DIY route isn’t that difficult AFAIK they can be fitted with 7 hours labour.

The issue is the ECU map. Assuming your car is “stock” then you shouldn’t have many issues. If your car isn’t stock then the ECU mapping can only be done at one place and that is Sinclaires currently. Things like manifolds/sports car/induction tends to play with the AFR quite a bit so you don’t want to be running lean with any det.

Give Sinclaires a call and ask about the new kit from VF http://www.VisionFunction.com/

Great results and 40hp+ more than the ronin/katana kit
