Now then - when I got my elise many moons ago I noticed the rear undertray (standard diffuser) had a 4 inch slash in the middle roughly put there by what looks like a four inch grinder pushed into the hub of the wheel.
Looked at the Exige and it’s also got one?
Is it some sort of accoustic deadening or is it the 4 inch grinder pixies who attack in the night?
Any ideas anyone???
If you mean the one that goes across the car then it’s down to the catalyst.

Thats cool, just so long as I know he has gone to a good home!!

It just does not look significant enough to do anything?
100mm long 5 mm wide??? Rough as ar*holes??
I think Mark means the catalyst has worn a hole in the diffuser… It’s not there on purpose

Perfect excuse to get the Edwards Diffuser methinks…
Perfect excuse to get the Edwards Diffuser methinks…
It’s on my list dont worry!
I’ve got this and it is definitely down to the Cat - the Edwards diffuser will suffer the same fate unless you remove the cat.
I have no experience of what my elise or the exige is like with the cat on so theres no danger of a slash in the new diffuser
I threw it in the back of the garage in an old bag!
