My Wifes logic!

On drive home tonight…

‘I like your new car, and never really liked the Exige… I mean having the roof on all the time’…

What do you mean I ask???

‘I like your Elise more, because proper sports cars don’t have a roof, F1 cars dont have a roof and they are sports cars’!!!

Love that female logic!!!

About time you traded her in - she’s too young for you anyway

Mate you wanna nip that in the bud I can see what she’s priming you for

But it’s got white wheels!!!

Girls love the Elise more than the Exige because it’s “cute” or “prettier”. Guys love the Exige more because it’s angrier and more aggressive.

The few girls I’ve had in my Exige before don’t see the point. It’s horrendously expensive, cooks you and stinks of petrol inside the cockpit (rich-running 192 ECU)… the Elise doesn’t suffer the same

My wife is distinctly cool about the Exige. She’s never driven it and doesn’t want to, whereas she was quite happy with the Elise.
On Sunday a pic of the Elise popped up on the computer and she came over all sentimental: " Aw, look it’s the Elise, I hope it went to a good home and somebody loves it"

My wife occassionally drives the Exige as a last resort. If I leave this world before her there will be a mini cooper sitting in the garage place the exige did the very next day. She was much more impressed with the Elise, but to be fair it is quieter, easy to get in, does not melt all the christmas presents in the boot and I could here what she said!

That’s why i bought a S1 Exige

Funny that - when we arrived home after collecting the S1 from down south, my wife who had followed me in the Mini complained of having a headache due to noise from the Exige!

No nookie that evening :frowning:

why would you want to listen to the wife anyways, reason for getting a loud car so you dont have to listen, or just use it as an excuse lol

After 20 years of marrage I have the selective hearing down to a T.
If she gets a headache following the car, there is no chance of her wanting to be a passenger or even worse, driving it

LOL, guys.

Mrs P only went in my Exige 3 times in 10 years…result!
