VERY nice indeed!!!
No windscreen to get smashed either!
Where on earth did you find that one then? I mean with a Honda installed… surely an interesting history!

Never watched “Blue Peter” have you!
not since konnie huq left, Mrs frowned upon me being naked that early in the afternoon anyway.
only possible if you have legs of a giant I believe.
Beautiful car, very unique built!
The wraps are off at last. Excellent job marc, well done.
white looks good
After a lot of work to get it ready for the dyno, we finally got the map written today
Every time we added 2 degrees it just kept giving another 10bhp!
As it’s got a small throttle body and a couple of other things that could do with improving, we’ve settled on this for the current set up.
This is power and boost, which peaks at 1.65bar.
Next stop is JSR where it has just over a week to get an extra engine mount fitted, put it all back together, set the geo, MoT, tax, decent road test and a sound test at Bedford ahead of its first track day on the 30th of this month. Fingers crossed I won’t need to add ‘new exhaust’ to that list of jobs!
thats some power!
fair play dude, i told you it would be awesome with a bit of fettling!!
Was at Bedford for its first track day yesterday.
Awesome day out.
Car was near perfect - just a gear change cable to replace.
Suspension is a bit too soft too, so that’s another job added to the ‘to do’ list!
SeanB’s Scoob being over taken by my wife in this one :
wowww…thats some power!!!
Was a great day!!!
I think you will find that is John driving the scoob at that point!
About time I updated this thread.
The car spent some more time at JSR last year (sounds strange saying that when it only ended 7 days ago!) getting a lot of love.
That included twin front oil coolers (front clam now vented to feed air to them), new suspension, full geo, HID headlights, NACA’d under tray, vented rear clam, uprated fuel system, Bedford-friendly twin box exhaust, steel rear hubs with new bearings/flanges, and LOTs of other little bits and bobs like fixing gauges, motorsport gear change cable, machining brackets etc. etc. (all the little TLC bits that separate good cars from great ones).
John and Wayne were LEGENDS, can’t thank them enough.
Few pics of the work as it happened:
Nice!
…is it coming to Spa lol
Would LOVE to come to Spa this year.
Had an awesome time last year and that was without a car!
Have this year’s dates been set yet?
Yep the dates July 29th staying over with the track days on the 30th and 31st, home on the 1st. See here buddy…

Cheers dude. I had a peek in that room before asking the question but couldn’t see for looking!
Will have to see how next few months go (work/ wise) before I book a place for the car. Certainly hope to have it there though.
Fingers cross
Got a few more words to bore you with about the car…
So, quick recap:
Bought the car just under a year ago as non-running, non-driving ‘unfinished’ project - I don’t mean that to sound negative, I was very happy with what I bought.
Made a list of things that needed doing.
Spent a few months getting it on the road.
The JSR guys kindly took it down to Bedford for its first outing.
The misses and I drove up from London with a view to driving it home from Bedford.
Had a great day at Bedford, but it wasn’t without fault (exhaust too loud, suspension too soft, engine too hot) so instead of coming home it went back to JSR with a new list of work that wanted doing.
Limited finances meant the work had to take a bit longer than I’d have liked, but so the saying goes: good things come to those who wait!
Collected the car in September.
This is the view that greeted me when I arrived:

Have to confess that a little bit of wee did come out!
