My Time Attack S1 Exige website/rebuild

I thought I’d post up a link to my website showing what I’ve been up to over the last few months for those who hadn’t stumbled across it already.

I’m entering Time Attack again this year in the Pro Class and have been making various upgrades to the car. I’ve been doing pretty much all the work by myself with the help of some friends and lots of advice from others.

I decided I’d like to document what I’ve done. Therefore I built this little site, which will be constantly updated.

The ‘2012 Build’ section shows the changes we’re making as they happen.

Enjoy!!

As said previously - MEGA :sunglasses:

It looks great and its great to see the progress!

Lots of thought into the aero (mind ones feet around it! ) interested to hear how this goes - and also the EP gearbox. Are you the first outside Oz to use it?

Site is good to read, well done.

Cheers.

Yes, more thought has gone into the aero than it would ever seem like when just looking around the car. Especially the way the aero devices are mounted, which is all concealed. Shame really!! Simon McBeath has been helping me with this aspect over the last few months.(One of the worlds leading aero gurus)He wanted to go bonkers with it with some serious, serious downforce, but we toned it down to reduce drag in the end, as I would really need about 600hp to get away with what he originally envisaged!!!

Anyway, the EP gearbox. I’ll be the 2nd person to have it in a car in the UK I think. The first one is going in a car as we speak. Mine will be going in, in a couple of weeks time, ready for my first event on 5th May.

Looking good matey!!

Indeed! :sunglasses:

A lot of time has been spent that’s for sure, all the best with this years Time Attack (were deffo entering you into pikes peaks next year btw…)

Indeed, a lot of time has been spent on this. However, the novelty of getting home from running my business, chucking some food down my neck, putting the kids to bed, getting evils from my wife and then going out again to work on the car until the early hours, is starting to wear off!!!

Oh well, only a few more weeks of this to go I suppose.

And…if you finish the car in time & if you do well in your Class , If you still have a viable business left, if you stopped having indigestion and buying Renny’s in industrial quantities, if you see that you kids have forgotten you, and your wife’s left home…OF COURSE IT WILL HAVE BEEN WORTH IT
