My S1 Exige is going up for sale

What a coincidence my race car is also up for sale. With motor or not.

Where are you going next Rex, I think I remember you running that car in MESC…are you going to be campaigning something else?

Just had a look for it and saw that Chris P’s red and white Honda car is also up for sale again, as well as yours and Sean’s. Just need to find the Dragon car and resurrect Randy’s car and the LOT Class-C band could get back together.

Just spoken to Rex and he’s bought himself a nice bicycle and a caravan instead. (Apologies Rex if that wasn’t supposed to be public knowledge) No more racing. Sad times:(

Everyone selling their cars is depressing the crap out of me, however I’m determined mine won’t go the same way.

Anyway, can everyone please stop selling their cars!

Why all bad news? You know what they say; as one door closes…

:shifty:

Not selling my orange car, although the s160 and Honda S1 Exige might be up for sale in the summer.
Orange car having some more work done, hopefully ready in a couple of months… Hopefully.

someone will have your arm off for that Honda S1, loverly motor

Sean - so sorry to see this mate  - still remember that Spa weekend  - does Exige come with or without roof?

Your build thread was/is still awesome

As Arnie says - you’ll be back

Sean, so gutted to read this…

Your original build thread was huge inspiration to lots of people on here… and I can’t help think you’ll regret it if you sell… try and spend a few hours in the garage and bolt a few bits back together over the weekend and see how you feel.

I know how you feel, and when mine was in bits on the garage floor you sometimes wonder why you bothered… but stick at it and it’ll be worth it !!

:frowning:

Make sure you get enough to buy a good Exige (of some variety) and spend some time driving it…with us!

What about swapping it with Christian’s S1 and then the spiritual road and track brothers can exist together in his garage.

Or sell it as a mad Lotus beach-buggy, which is how it looked with it’s big wheels and no body when I last saw it.

Ian

I know you don’t need the space Sean! I dare say any money you’ll release from it will get put into a road car, that’ll you hate after 3 months and be back on here

HAHA, cheers for all the support guys.

Dave, I have tried what you have said and I’m just not feeling it at the moment at all. I do think my next purchase will be a lot more road biased, maybe an S3??

The photo’s have been taken and the spec list is virtually there. Its a bloody mouth watering list and this will be a stonking piece of kit once it is put together.

By the way I am still going to be on here. Some of my bestest buddies are on here, so I’m not letting that go. The only reason I have been a bit quiet lately is that I am so busy with work, its not because I have gone off my Exige.

Well if this is the case employee some people to do your work and then spend some time on the car instead

Or pay someone to finish it?

Bingo - there’s no way you will get the value for it as a ‘box of bits’ :frowning:

Either way, get it finished and then decide what you want to do… much bigger market for selling it if its a completed project.

Boo… That’s all,

I’ve had bad dreams about this car and the only thing I know for sure about it is it’s mph at max revs in 5th gear

Good dreams surely?

JSR John told me that your exige was up for sale… gutted for you chap! Good luck with the sale. I selfishly wanted to see pics of how you got on with fitting the wide body  Haven’t started on fitting mine properly yet.

Have you got a build log anywhere? Really interested to see how the 5cyl one is going
