I posted up a whole load of these on scottishelises but thought the exiges.com folks might want a look too.

Car was off the road for 5 months over winter, getting the whole kit fitted. I really wanted to use original bits, as I loved the way my old s1 exige looked and my bros car, so kept it stock mostly.

I spent ages sourcing all the bits - from members here and ebay. Wheels, kit from chris, wing from Evosal.

It took hours (I reckon I spent 50 hours re-assembling it) and although I still have a few tweaks to make its almost done.

Colour is Lambo grigio telesto.

Phils titanium car is pretty dark - the colour of mine makes it look silver :open_mouth:

the car then went back into the bodyshop for another respray as I wasnt happy with some of the colour matching so it got sanded back and the paint that was on it used as a base. Paint is now as seen in photos below and its awesome

That is stunning, love the colour and looks fantastic uncluttered by stickers etc - how you going to do the front number plate? You’ve obviously put heart and soul into it, but the result was worth it.

Couldnt have done it without some expert help along the way

Everyone so far has loved the colour (or at least not wanted to offend by saying otherwise) but one things important, I love it .

It looks like primer in some lights, like thundery clouds in others and almost black at night time.

According to the paintshop the paint has a massive pearl content which is crazy as sometimes it looks so flat and dead then in sunlight you see the metallic.

She watched us solidly for the entire build- any work you are doing, every 15 seconds (literally) she walks up, spits her ball at you and just stands watching until you throw it. Repeat.

Think your brother posted this on Cliosport as i saw it over there… looks great but i’m sure can only be truly appreciated in the flesh!

What makes it a Motorsport car besides the body though? :wink:

Well, you couldnt call it an Exige or the beard brigade would be all over it saying “thats not an Exige, its a Motorsport Elise” so you cant win it would seem!
