My Knob is f..f..f..freezing

Sorry for the crass innuendo, but my gear knob really is cold on these autumn, coming on winter, mornings. Yes Lotus sell one which is top half leather, at 30+ but I would prefer a complete covering.
Sensible suggestions gratefully received, but dont forget it is lift reverse, 6 gear, so its not the same as earlier Elises etc.

Gloves ?

oh well, are we mice or men?

But if this is a real problem, a major one, one of these problems with worldwide attention, solve it seriously!

For example this way:

-measure your gearknob (picture shows an S1 gearknob)

-find an immediate temporary solution (picture shows leather glove on gearknob)

-do a brainstorming with a few friends to find some alternative temporary solutions (picture shows a hello-kitty-gearknob-cover, available on eBay)

-if you don’t find a proper permanent solution yourself, go to your local newspaper and blame someone else for it (for example your tailor)

-wait a few weeks and find a handmade, one-of-a-kind, fancy and stylish, smooth and soft gearknob-cover in your letterbox

otherwise you can order it at www.cloud7.co.nz

Sorry but whilst I am sure you have spent some time getting the pictures together for me, I am not sure what you are suggesting.
When I want to snatch a gear change I do want one of those sloppy fitting things coming off in my hand instead.

Whether it’s a good measure I’m not sure, but I tend to use it as a good indicator of when the car has warmed up enough to be able to open it up…
