I did read your post on handling whitest stood by the side of a wind swept football pitch in the middle of nowhere although I can�t recall everything you wrote I found it interesting how much feedback could be gained just on public roads. I took your post with a pinch of salt but now feel I was wrong in assuming that driving semi quick on a public road could give such levels of feedback, after all car testers do it and not having met you I have no idea of your driving talent so maybe you could too. Fact is C8UER had made the effort to type out a long informative post on his findings on the shear panel he just had fitted , the “banter” started to the point that C8UER felt he needed to delete his post that i was actually really interested in .
I know it was only banter as im used to it and thats exactly what my comments were , but some people are not , im not sure what Seloc has got to do with it again.
As for logging out , i have been on this S2 forum a long time before you , infact if you look at my posts from years ago i was one of the members that pushed really hard for our own S2 forum in the days when Exiges.com was just S1, so after three Exiges and all that i wont be logging out ,thanks anyway.
Moomin, your my hero, really you are.
But I think if you do a little digging yourself you’ll find I have owned Lotus cars since 2001 and have known many of the guys who post here long before I ever posted here. I only started posting here in 07 when I bought my first exige as there was no point posting on an exige forum when your an elise owner.
But I was very active on the BCBBS and helped to set up Norlog. Thus I should say I am not in a bad position to comment about the banter from people I have known a long time.
I see your point about Chris’s post however calling people bummers is never going to win you any friends.
If you read my post again you will see i said “everyone gets it and dont worry about it , dont take it personally” my comments about the “little internal bummers club” lol was also banter like i said.
I do think Exiges.com is a fantastic forum with loads of good people on it and information , the banter dosnt bother me and i give as good as i get but when someone deletes there informative post purely because of the banter then its wrong , i dont care how qualified you are in banterness.
BTW i also had an Elise before my Exigesss lol.
