First car I can ever remember being refered to as “Future classic” was the Jensen Interceptor - always thought it was a fantastic name - not so sure about the car though!!

About 50 in a 30, I was driving a Triumph Vitesse (and I thought that was quick).
Had to go to court.

Know what you mean Sean - I’ve been lusting after e30 m3s for a while and when I drove one it just felt slow in comparison to the Honda. Mind you still do love 'em.
Yeah I had an E30 M3 as a daily driver for about two years, I really really loved that car. I did about a dozen track days in it aa well.
Awesome balance and felt great but as you say really lacked umph. I have kind of been trying to get a modern E30 M3 ever since and have had every incarnation of M3 since the E30. My current 135i is the closest though in my opinion, totally loveing it at the moment.

and while we’re on Fords I’ve also had Mk3 Escort, 2.8 Granada, Mk 1 Capri GT. All good fun in their way but the Mexicos were the best!
