I heard this but it cannot be correct, I have perma tc after fitting gavs ecu, I have not got round to fitting the off button yet. So ecu keeps it live even without the button.
Agreed Boothy, mine was permanent until I fitted the button.
Right so I will try removing the centre console at the weekend to see if there is a wire that a button can be fitted to. a friend of mines seems to think with the centre console being leather he thinks this may have been done after the car was bought and that it has been fitted over where the button would normally be?? so is the centre console easy enoughf to remove guys?
Only 240pp cars and above had variable tc. A swapped console is likely.
