My Exige becomes a practical car...

Nice one. Not so practical the lil’ tyke was conceived in there though eh?

Tim.

PS Is that a Lotus cap he’s wearin’

Hope that doesn’t mean you are going to be selling up?

Hope that doesn’t mean you are going to be selling up?

I hope not too, just got to check the finances first.

As for conception, haven’t had the flexibility to try it yet in the Exige, looks too painful, especially on that ridged alloy floor! Would have to take the roof off, and that’s not allowed is it!

Well done…congrats…he/she looks just like you.

nice one Bob - she made me talk about kids the other night

I reckon it would have gone a lot better if I had seen those seats first

Keep talking…avoid action

I know, even though I forgot on 3 occasions

My son is 22 months old, I actually bought a Recaro seat but have never bothered using it.
I took him out for the 1st time in the Exige about a month ago, he loves it, but with his coat on I can actually tighten the harnesses enough that he does not need the car seat.
Anyone that said that Exiges are uncomfortable can have a word with my son here he is on the way to the pistonheads meet at virginia waters last sunday, with all the engine noise and the stereo on he still managed to fall asleep.

They’re the ones, Buddy Boy G has the Sport in blue.

ps. Christian, I’m sure the car wasn’t actually moving on a public highway there. I’d hate people to think you were posting pictures of illegal activity on here.

I can not wait for my boy to have a ride in the Exige but as he is only 7 weeks old and he cannot sit up straight…have the read the manual it says…
‘Infants who are unable to sit up by themselves, un supported should NOT be carried in the Elise/Exige’.

with his coat on I can actually tighten the harnesses enough that he does not need the car seat.

Just a word of warning - I think there is an issue if your sons shoulders are so far away from the top of the harnessess as shown in the photo. Can’t bring the reference to mind, but I do remember reading that harnessess should fit over the shoulder and not just up up the front.

Moot point, as it is illegal for young children to travel in the front of a car without a child seat.

Some of my friends have looked into my car and thought that it WAS a child seat…
