My 2009 Headlight adjustment

Just fitted some HID lights and need to adjust them;- How do you do this on the sealed units??

Hi MrFixit
You need the remove the outer cover to adjust the the headlights, presumably you had it off when you fitted the HID’s if you fitted the HID bulbs without removing the bracket from the clam they light should be set as before anyway
If you haven’t taken the cover off, take wheel off, remove the front part of the wheel arch liner the there are 3 cap head bolts remove these and the cover slides up and forward and that’s it

Thats for the pre 2007 cars.
The 2007 onwards cars
Remove forward arch liner and look at rear of headlight - two small phillips screws are the adjusters

Oh yeah just read the title again DOH!!

Thanks, its the ‘remove wheels and adjust’ bit as how do you set up the lights etc when the wheels or off the car, do you know if its possible to do this with the wheels on full lock when the inner arch is removed??
